Spiritual Legislative Council Applauds Trump’s Bold First 100 Days

A President’s first 100 days in office are comparable to an Olympic race. January 20th is like the starting pistol that gets everyone running. President Trump set a pace with which most media outlets had difficulty keeping up, much less following. The hurdles that seemed to slow him down and perhaps frustrate him the most were when various members of Congress fought him on the appointees he wanted for his administration. However, he can claim many other accomplishments.
Trump’s Accomplishments within 100 Days
The Spiritual Legislative Council (SLC) recently publicized its congratulations for everything that Trump accomplished in his first 100 days in office.
“The first 100 days represent hope, renewal, and decisive action,” Bishop B. Dwayne Hardin, SLC Founder, told ChristianNewsWire. “President Trump’s leadership embodies unity, justice, and a commitment to a merit-based future.”
The primary accomplishments that the SLC was especially pleased to see included:
- Promoting economic justice through DOGE
- Advancing civil rights to protect the dignity of women
- Strengthening freedom of religion
- Supporting marginalized communities
- Issuing executive orders to protect sustainability and natural resources
- Enhancing border security
- Establishing the White House Faith Office
- Appointing the Pardon Czar
“These milestones reflect President Trump’s compassion, accountability, and moral courage,” Hardin added.
“We invite you to join us in prayer as we remain committed to spiritually supporting this administration’s bold vision for America’s future,” Apostle Ellis L. Smith, SLC cofounder, told Christian News Wire.
Dr. Alveda King, niece of the slain Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior, is one of the founding members of SLC.
“The SLC is a Spirit-led leadership council dedicated to influencing governmental affairs through faith and pragmatic action,” according to the SLC website.
The organization is guided by Judeo-Christian principles and aims to influence and equip leaders to “govern with purpose, fostering partnerships and ethical solutions for a better society.”
Through 10 Congressional Review Acts (CRA) and over 30 executive orders, President Trump has done more to stop the government from interfering in the lives of the American people than any other president in history, according to the Trump White House Archives.
Rasmussen Reports Mark Mitchell Believes Mainstream Media Polls Skewed
Though many mainstream outlets haven’t been releasing positive reports about how Americans, in general, are feeling about President Trump’s first 100 days, Washington Watch’s Tony Perkins is questioning the accuracy of those mainstream polls and has invited the Chief Pollster at Rasmussen Reports, Mark Mitchell, to expand on these reports.
Mitchell believes there is a mainstream media push campaign using skewed reporting and social media to undermine Trump and mislead the American people into thinking that Trump isn’t popular.
Rasmussen has an excellent reputation for accuracy regarding presidential election polling. As the only people still polling presidential approval on a daily basis, Mitchell told Perkins, “If you take the first six months of Obama’s first term away, then look at the rest of his polling, that’s pretty much where Trump approval has been and is going to be…you’re never going to see a Trump 60 percent approval rating, but I don’t think it’s going to drop below 45 percent either. And what I think is a much more important number is the fact that our ‘Right Direction’ polling is hitting records on a weekly basis now because Americans are finally getting what they voted for.”
When Perkins asked Mitchell to explain “Right Direction” polling, Mitchell detailed that they’ve been tracking how Americans feel about whether or not the country is headed in the right direction or is on the wrong track for the past 20 years.
“Right direction has always been less then wrong track,” Mitchell began, adding that right direction hit an historic, 20 year high, “a month and a half ago under Trump’s second administration. It got up to 48 percent, the highest it’s ever been in our polling history, and now it’s setting records for 13 consecutive weeks at 42 percent or higher.”
Mitchell added that the previous record was for seven weeks under Trump’s first term.
