Beth Moore Ends Living Proof Live Events After 29 Years

After 29 years of a successful and beautiful women’s ministry, Beth Moore announced the countdown to wrap up Living Proof events. What began in 1997 as conferences designed for women to study the Bible quickly grew out of Moore’s ministry, founded in 1994. For nearly three decades, Living Proof has hosted seminars, tours, and sessions in all fifty states.

In her IG announcement, Moore explained that this decision hasn’t been an easy one. “It isn’t because we’ve lost our passion or Jesus hasn’t ceased to exist. That would be easier,” said Moore. In fact, Moore goes on to explain that her team has “never loved or appreciated the ministry more.”

So why the decision to close its doors? Moore and Living Proof have always lifted high the name of Jesus. They’re well aware that the goodness God’s given them in this area of ministry is a rare gift. But according to the protocol of a nonprofit like theirs, after Moore turned 65, she was asked to propose a transition plan that inevitably comes with age. She took a full year to pray and talk with family, and then presented it to her staff.

This plan will consist of downsizing in June 2027 to minimal staff and office space. Turning 70 soon, Moore will have less responsibility and the gift to do more of the things she feels called to, such as speaking, teaching, and writing. In some ways, Moore even believes this will “delay her retirement” in a good way. Though it’s “painful,” explained Moore, it’s what’s best for the ministry.

Out of the final 7 Living Proof Live Events, 2 are already sold out. But Moore hopes attendees can make it a priority to attend one of the others, regardless of whether they’ve been to a dozen or want to experience Living Proof for the first (and last) time.

The remaining events are as follows:

April 23-24/ Asheville, NC, The Cove- SOLD OUT

April 24-25/ Asheville, NC, The Cove- SOLD OUT

July 25- August 1/ Alaska Cruise

September 25-26/ West Des Moines, IA, Lutheran Church of Hope

October 23-24/ New England, His Providence Church
