Candace Cameron Bure Is Excited to Become a Grandma

Known for her leading role as D.J. Tanner on the hit TV show Full House, Candace Cameron Bure has been a fan favorite since early childhood. Rising to fame at an early age through acting, producing, and writing, the 50-year-old is now excited to officially add "future grandma" to her list of titles.
According to the NY Daily News, the former Full House Star and The View co-host announced on Thursday, May 7th, 2026, via Instagram, that her first grandchild was on the way. Bure's daughter, Natasha, and her husband, Bradley Steven Perry, posed with bellies exposed in their pregnancy announcement. Calling parenting their "dream role," Bure added "CandyGram" is now in "full effect."
With support from one of Natasha's best friends, Taylor Lautner (the Twilight actor and his same-named wife), Lautner added, "My baby gets a bestie." Lautner announced her pregnancy on March 26th, 2026, and can't wait for their kids to become best friends, too.
While Natasha is the eldest daughter (27 years old) of Bure and her husband, Valeri, a former professional hockey player, she has two younger brothers who are also cheering her on. Lev, 26, and Maksim, 24, work for their parents' Bure Family Wines and are excited to see their sister become a mom (Entertainment Weekly).
