Duck Dynasty Family Rallies around 18-Year-Old Daughter after Pregnancy Announcement
Family members and individuals within the pro-life community are rallying behind the 18-year-old daughter of Duck Dynasty stars Jep and Jessica Robertson after it was revealed this week that she is pregnant with her first child. Jessica Robertson announced this week that her daughter, Priscilla, will give birth this fall.
“Me & Jep are excited to welcome another new grandbaby in October. Priscilla will give birth to our granddaughter & we are blessed to add another grandbaby,” Jessica Robertson wrote. “This isn’t the plans we had laid out for Priscilla but God takes our meager offerings and turns them into His greatest blessings! We are so proud that Priscilla & Dillon chose life for their baby and we will all be rewarded with this precious baby girl! We pray blessings on her pregnancy & ask God for a safe delivery for Mom & Baby. We praise God for His perfect gifts!”
Members of the Duck Dynasty clan quickly congratulated the family.
“Beautiful! Love you and so excited for another sweet baby girl in the fam,” wrote Korie Robertson, Jessica’s sister-in-law.
“Beautiful mama,” wrote Sadie Robertson Huff, Jessica’s niece and Priscilla’s cousin.
“Beautiful! Love y’all and she is gonna be an amazing mama!” added Rebecca Robertson Loflin, another niece of Jessica and cousin of Priscilla.
The pro-life community is also applauding Priscilla and her boyfriend for their decision to choose life.
“I’m so happy for your growing family and for the courageous decision of Priscilla and Dillon, who have chosen Life,” wrote Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life. “I pray their example inspires many in the same situation and saves thousands of precious children made in His image!”
Meanwhile, Jessica Robertson also shared a lighthearted prayer request -- the family will soon have three more grandchildren, thanks to two other daughters expanding the family. Lily welcomed a baby boy, Winston, in February, and Merritt is expecting her first child in December.
“Pray for us!” Jessica wrote, “3 babies under 1!”
