Forrest Frank, Wife Grace Rejoice Over Birth of Baby Boy Sonny
Singer Forrest Frank and his wife, Grace, are celebrating the birth of their second child, a baby boy named Sonny.
The award-winning Christian singer provided no further details about the birth, such as the date or weight, but did post a few candid photos alongside a caption: “Welcome to the world Sonny Neil Frank. We love you more than you’ll ever know.” Their first child, Bodie, was born in 2023.
It was a homebirth.
“Grace crushed it! 2 for 2,” he wrote.
The couple announced in October she was once again pregnant. They married in 2020.
Frank is one of the most popular artists in Christian music and is known for such hits as Your Way’s Better, which was named Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year at this year’s Dove Awards, where he also took home Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year (Child of God).
He is set to hit the road in 2026 as part of “The Jesus Generation Tour” with Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury, and The Figs. Approximately 90 percent of the tickets sold out during presale.
Frank said during an appearance at Liberty University last year that he and his wife met on a mission trip that he nearly skipped.
God, he said, brought him and Grace together.
“The day I got saved [at church], this guy comes up behind me, pats me on the back, gives me this big hug, and he's just like, ‘Man, you gotta go on this mission trip.’ And I'm like, ‘Dude, I just gave my life to Jesus. I don't know if I'm supposed to be a missionary right now,’” Frank said, laughing. “He's like, ‘No, it's perfect … Just explain that to people, and then that's your testimony.’ So I go on that mission trip the next year, on that same mission trip is where I met my wife. So [it’s] just cool [that by] following the Lord – if I hadn't done that, He wouldn't have given me this beautiful bride.”
