TPUSA Reveals Alternative Halftime Show Lineup, Led by Kid Rock and Country Stars

The lineup for Turning Point USA’s alternative halftime show is set.

TPUSA announced Monday that four artists will headline its alternative halftime show during Super Bowl LX, with rocker Kid Rock joined by country stars Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. The show will stream across TPUSA’s social media platforms, including YouTube, and air on outlets such as TBN, The National News Desk, and Real America’s Voice.

It’s been dubbed The All-American Halftime Show, promoted as “celebrating faith, family and freedom.”

Super Bowl LX will air on NBC, featuring a matchup between New England and Seattle. The All-American Halftime Show will begin at the same time as the game’s official halftime show.

TPUSA proposed an alternative halftime show in October after the NFL announced rapper Bad Bunny, an artist known for explicit lyrics, as the performer. He was the most streamed artist on Spotify in 2025.

“The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” Turning Point spokesman Andrew Kolvet said in the release. “We set out to provide an entertainment option that will be fun, excellent, and exciting for the entire family while millions are gathered together for the big game. These performers will deliver exactly that, and we can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on. We know millions around the country will be watching too.”

Of course, Kid Rock has never been viewed as a family-friendly artist. A majority of his albums carry a “Parental Advisory” label for explicit language, and some of his song titles even include the F-word. Presumably, however, his performance Sunday will stay within more defined boundaries.

“We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath,” Kid Rock said in the news release. “Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible … or is it? [Bad Bunny] said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”

Gilbert, Brice, and Barrett have all won multiple country music awards. Gilbert is known for hits such as Bottoms Up and Kick It in the Sticks, while Brice has enjoyed widespread success with songs including One of Them Girls and Rumor. Barrett broke through with the smash hit I Hope and later followed it with radio staples such as The Good Ones. Brice and Barrett have spoken publicly about their Christian faith.
