Over the years, Disney has created dozens of beloved films and characters that hold a special place in the hearts of many. Disney’s beloved theme parks all over the world provide visitors with the unique opportunity to meet those historic characters.
In Central Florida, Walt Disney World has four iconic theme parks – Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. It was at Hollywood Studios where one special and heartwarming moment took place.
AAsher Lilles is a young man with Down syndrome who also has non-verbal apraxia, according to ABC6. AAsher also happens to love Donald Duck, and during a trip to Hollywood Studios, he got to meet the cartoon duck.
Meeting Donald Duck During Walt Disney World Trip
In the clip posted on YouTube, AAsher, who is dressed just like his favorite cartoon character, stands and waits behind a park employee. Seconds into the video, Donald runs up to the little guy with his arms wide open.
But instead of a hug, Donald spins around frantically several times before finally giving the young man a loving embrace. Donald then positions AAsher in order to get a good look at his outfit, which is the exact same one the duck is wearing.
Before the clip ends, Donald and AAsher shake their behinds together at the camera.
At Walt Disney World’s many theme parks around the globe, dreams really do come true every day. Families use valuable vacation time to visit those parks because they know they’ll make cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
AAsher’s precious and heartwarming encounter with Donald Duck at Walt Disney World is likely something he and his family will remember forever. A little bit of kindness can make someone’s entire day, which the video perfectly illustrates.
Colossians 3:12 “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, long suffering.”
