One person found a cake while others arranged for a photographer and videographer. They secured Anne’s favorite flowers, lined the aisle with candles, and gathered sparkling cider for the toast.
On the morning of the wedding, Anne’s nurses carefully applied her makeup and fussed over her. They wanted her to feel like a bride, not simply a patient awaiting surgery. When Gary saw Anne coming toward him, his emotions took over. He was as nervous as any groom would be, knowing he was looking at the most beautiful woman in the world.
