New York’s Decision: A Sign of the Times

The passage of a same-sex marriage law in New York – the largest state to do so thus far – is another sign of what happens to nations that forget and mock God.

All of this and more is forecast in Scripture before the end. “They invent ways of doing evil,” said Paul. The world does what the world does. That’s why it is futile for Christians who are not of this world and who represent another kingdom to think and act as if their worldview can prevail in a nation that increasingly reflects the world’s attitude and behavior.

The world hates us because it hates Christ. It disregards what we say because it disregarded what he said. Far from despairing, this should affirm the truth of Scripture. The unredeemed “invent ways of doing evil.” The hearts of men are growing cold and the day of the Lord draws ever-closer. Everything is right on schedule. Not to worry unless, of course, you are among the unredeemed.
