Stone’s Throw from Venezuela to Iran

September 10, 2009
While filmmaker Oliver Stone is promoting his new buddy, Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, in a film, Chavez has made his bed with Iranian dictator Mahmud Ahmadinejad. Stone, who has made millions from his films, pals around with dictators who want to destroy America.
Chavez and Ahmadinejad are calling their relationship an "axis of unity." That's a play on former president George W. Bush's "axis of evil" line. Iran has been shipping what many believe to be weapons to Venezuela. Iranian soldiers are embedded with Venezuelan soldiers. Chavez makes no secret that he wants to inherit the mantle of Fidel Castro, only he wants to do a better job than Castro.
Chavez's goal is to subjugate all of Latin America to his socialist (some would say communist) ideology and then weaken America with the help of Iran. I'm not sure we have the kinds of people in government who will stand up and oppose these guys because, as we know from all the czars in the Obama administration, there appear to be a lot of them who share the ideology of Stone and Chavez.
