The Brotherhood’s Appointee

President Obama's appointment of Rashad Hussain as special envoy to the Organization of Islamic Conference, or OIC, should be of grave concern to Congress and the public. Hussain, who is deputy associate counsel to the president, has a history of engagement with the U.S. branch of the Muslim Brotherhood as well as support for Brotherhood causes.

A memorandum by Mohamed Akram states the grand strategic goal for the Brotherhood in North America: "The Muslim Brotherhood must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."

Hussain has had ties to many individuals and groups aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood. Presidential envoys are not subject to Senate confirmation, but Hussain should be vetted. They're here and they want to destroy us. They are telling us. Who will listen and act?
