Every time terrorist suspects are arrested or found out, their friends and acquaintances at the mosque they attended say things like, "We never saw or heard anything radical about them; they were just fun-loving guys." You've heard it yourself.

The latest is the five northern Virginia men arrested in Pakistan and suspected of plotting to kill U.S. troops. They are thought to be part of an extensive network of terrorist recruiters who scour the Internet looking for radicalized young people.

We will see more of this as more people from Islamic countries are allowed into America, permitted to build new mosques and Islamic academies. They don't all have to be radicals and probably not all of them are. But it doesn't take many—just a few—to terrorize and destabilize a nation.

If we were serious about fighting terrorism then we wouldn't let them in and we would bar construction of more mosques and Islamic schools. But we won't and they know this. So they come and are here and are preparing to make war while we make excuses for them.
