Are You a Christian or a Follower of Christ?

Christians are followers of Christ. While I am not ashamed to say I am a Christian, it is something else to say I am actually a follower of Christ. To be a follower I must, of course, be watchful and sensitive to where He leads. I must be responsive to the urgings he places in my heart. I must be faithful to do what He tells me to do. It is here that I am challenged. Perhaps you can relate. Are you a Christian, and more important, are you a follower of Christ? Consider where He asks you to go today and be faithful in your response.
