Breaking a Habit

We are certainly creatures of habit—sometimes simply habitual ways of doing things; sometimes habits more serious. Either way, we must recognize when we are slipping into destructive habits. We often are not the first to see the impact of our destructive ways and must rely on others who we trust to peer into our lives. Do you have others willing to speak into our lives? Will you allow them to ‘say what they see’ even if we get our feeings ruffled in the process? God often uses others to tell us when we are heading in a destructive direction—if we allow them to do so.
