Don’t Throw Pity Parties!

Danica set alone in her living room weeping; she was grieving. She had lived in her present home for close to 6 years. She had lovingly decorated each and every room. She was relocating for her new job.
Danica was excited to start her new career, but was overwhelmed with memories and the sadness of leaving what she knew. There was a knock at the door. A neighbor, who had recently moved, came to say hello and share news.
The elderly couple down the street was going through a very difficult time; the husband had cancer and was not expected to recover. Danica and her ex-neighbor had been praying for the couple. What a joy to find they had both accepted the Lord. What a jolt in perspective for Danica; her pity party was over!
(Psalms 71:21) You will increase my honour and comfort me once again.
