Facing the Facts

Facing the Facts

You would think we’re all willing to face the facts. After all, the facts are the facts. They are not subjective, nor do they bend to our will. They are factual. Yet, the power of denial can trick us. We make “seemingly unimportant decisions” that compromise our life. We make choices that seem right, when in fact they violate God’s laws and lead to our own misery. Scripture tells us, “The truth will set you free.” The facts, if faced, will generally lead us to a better life. To face the facts we must look beyond our wisdom, which is fallible, and listen carefully to the voice of God and words from Scripture. Are you really willing to face the facts?
