Having Patience

Have you ever been behind an impatient person in a line? Muttering and disgruntled, they make everyone’s life more difficult. Generally speaking, people are all doing the best they can. Subsequently, they deserve patience. You do no good by losing your temper and railing at them. This only aggravates the situation. If you are in a situation that is frustrating, step back, take a breath, and remember that these people need your kindness. “But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness” (Psalm 86:15).
