Remembering Goodness

Yes, there is such a thing called ‘goodness.’ Scripture actually talks about it and it is something we would do well to cultivate in ourselves and in our families. Goodness is wholesome and exists all around us in the world. Look around and notice how kind people can be. Look around and notice how many choose to allow you to the head of the line or help you out of a jam. We can look for it, recognize it and even promote it. At a time when we are quick to recognize and talk about evil, selfishness and darkness, let’s remember that goodness is all around us. God has allowed goodness to prosper in our hearts and in the hearts of others. Look for it. See it. Enjoy it.
