Seeking Rest

Seeking Rest

“Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”   Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28-29). In a world spinning wildly, we don’t take enough time to simply rest. We may stop work, but do we really rest. Jesus offers us rest if we take His yoke—companioning with Him. Consider slowing down on occasion and seeking rest from the ultimate caregiver. Take this Scripture and let it sink into your soul.
