The Art of Contentment

Have you known people who seem to have more than their share of blessings, and yet cannot find happiness to save their life? There are others, of course, who have so little, yet find joy in a sunrise, a small gift or have a kind word. Scripture tells us, “Be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you or forsake you’” (Hebrews 13:5). We have a faith that sustains us, a Lord who delivers us and offers us hope. We really do have enough to be content. Take a moment today and reflect on the blessings in your life—and give thanks!
