The Nearness of God

When was the last time you considered the nearness of God? If you are like me, you forget how ever-present is our God. Scripture says, “To you, Oh God, do we give thanks: for that your name is near your wondrous works declare” (Psalms 75:1). Our God is a personal God, able to be called on in times of distress and celebration. He cares about every detail of our lives and is able and desiring of a personal relationship with us. Give thanks today that God is near.
