There is Hope in Turmoil

The article in the newspaper painted Drew in a very bad light.  Someone was accusing him of wrongdoing in his place of employment.  The article was written from a perspective of Drew’s guilt.

Madeline had been married to Drew for many years and knew his character and his faithfulness in the Lord.  Many people believed what they read without further investigation; some had been considered close friends.

The couple, and a few loyal friends put their trust in God.  They received strength to endure the ordeal from start to finish.  While the couple’s reputation before man took a beating, they remained faithful before God.

(Isaiah 41:10) Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
