When You Win, You Lose

When You Win, You Lose

You can win, defeating your mate as you would an enemy, but you will lose your relationship. Think about it. While winning seems pleasant for the moment, you separate yourself every time from the one you care about. Winning an argument means you will defeat your mate, putting down their point of view, causing them to feel devalued and worse, worthless. Is winning really worth that cost? Of course not.
