When we rejoice in the Lord always, He keeps us, in many situations, from giving in to such temptations as envy, jealousy, fear, and anger. Rejoicing, even in times of testing, is acknowledging that God is the source of life. And it brings us to the place where our lives can be filled by God Himself.
