Healing the Soul: A 4-Week Study to Foster Emotional Healing Through Scripture and Prayer

In a world teeming with trauma and difficult circumstances, emotional injury can afflict anyone—Christians included. However, the road to recovery for God’s people is often blocked by the belief that we are supposed to distrust our emotions, which are a part of our soul. This Bible study aims to reverse the trend by fostering emotional healing through Scripture and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. While IFS has been successful in alleviating anything from general distress to numerous mental disorders, this 4-part Bible study will focus on anxiety, abandonment, anger, and trusting God. Together, these devotionals invite you to listen to these parts of your soul, while still honoring God’s Word as final authority.
