I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with Mine eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which has no understanding, which must be harnessed with a bit and bridle, else they will not come near you.

Success is knowing and doing the will of God for our lives. Psalm 32:8-9 tells us of that wonderful promise. And as we conclude this year and begin another one as committed Christians, we can know God’s perfect and wonderful will for our lives.
There is a will of God for me that is different and distinct from God’s will for anyone else on all of the earth. I want to encourage you to explore God’s personal will for your life as you start a new year. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. And what a shame it would be if you missed it. Consider that for just a moment…it’s awesome, isn’t it?
Consider the fact, that in the entire universe, God knows you personally—by name and by need. When you ask, “O God, what is man that Thou art mindful of him?” You have to consider the vastness of space. I read not too long ago the there are 12 octillion suns in our universe alone. Imagine that! Twelve octillion! It is truly unimaginable. And yet, in the midst of all the creation and cosmos of God, He knows each one of us personally and loves us unconditionally!
You are important to our Creator—distinctly and uniquely loved. Jesus says in John 16:13, “However when He, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears, He will speak and He will tell you the things to come.”
As Christians, we have the promise of the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us. Today, renew your commitment to seek God’s purpose and plan for your life. God has given you the Holy Spirit for you to respond to in order that you may know God’s plan for your life. When you respond to the Holy Spirit and God’s will for your life, you will experience His promise, share His presence, and know His power.
IN THE WILL OF GOD, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE HIS PRESENCE,
PROMISES, PLAN, POWER, AND PROTECTION.
