Is there any wonder that God has used Billy Graham to the ends of the earth with a heart and compassion for people who don’t know Christ? You don’t often hear stories like this because they don’t make the headlines. If we are going to make a difference for Jesus Christ in our generation, we much carry a burden so deep that it makes us explode in tears.
When was the last time you wept for a soul who is mortgaged to the devil? When was the last time you wept for a friend, family member, or coworker that you know doesn’t know Christ? Jesus said that this comes only through “prayer and fasting” (Matthew 17:21). When have you wept, prayed, and fasted for those who are lost without Him?
You must have a face that shows love and compassion to those who need to know Jesus. So many churches and Christians are pushing people away with their uninviting attitudes. Our commission is to take the Good News to the entire world. Pray that God give you a burden for souls and would open opportunities in your circle of friends, your neighborhood, at work, or in your own home to share the truth and Gospel of Jesus for His glory.
