The wounds of a friend hurt worse than those of an enemy.

I can’t make anyone want to have me in their life, but I’m still fighting off the feelings of rejection.

Although it hurts at a deep level to be rejected, and it’s not easy when faced with it to respond in the right way, with God’s help, we can respond with the love He gives to us to those who reject us.

Loneliness can be one of the most painful and isolating experiences.  

Rejection, unfortunately, is bound to happen. How we respond when we feel hurt and betrayed, though, is a choice that will either take us further from Christ or closer to freedom in him.
