Jesus’ birth is a time for great celebration. Although born hidden away in an obscure stable, His appearing brought the most spectacular baby announcement on Earth, with angels breaking forth from Heaven to bring the Good News of His birth.

Lamentations 3:24-25 says, "The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him".

The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for home, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure, then peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3:17

Revelation 4:11 says, worthy are you, O Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.

Are you currently twisted up in some sort of turmoil? In your head, heart, or maybe your surroundings?

One way the Pilgrims showed thankfulness was by being generous with the Native Americans, sharing their faith, time, and harvest with them. Like them, we can stir up Thanksgiving gratefulness around us, too, by being generous.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:8

Father God, You are our true source of hope and the place we can go for help when we are desperate and weary.

It's hard to find joy when you're struggling, especially when everyone around you seems so full of it.

We know that God is a God who heals. However, we also know that He does not heal everyone. Some people experience miraculous healing, and others pass on too young. We don’t understand this side of heaven, but we can still trust that God is in...

Though there is evil in our world, the Lord is greater, and He can keep our children safe. The Lord is good, and He is ever-present. Whether we are with our kids or not, Jesus is by their side.

Second Corinthians 7:5-6

Dear Lord, thank you for already knowing that this season would take place.  

Dear Father God, thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit to live within us.

We don't know what is going on in the hearts and minds of wayward children and grandchildren. God doesn't ask us to know, but God does say to ask, seek, knock, and pray without ceasing.
