Whither shall I go from thy spirit?

Jesus’ birth is a time for great celebration. Although born hidden away in an obscure stable, His appearing brought the most spectacular baby announcement on Earth, with angels breaking forth from Heaven to bring the Good News of His birth.

Lamentations 3:24-25 says, "The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him".

The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Revelation 4:11 says, worthy are you, O Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.

Are you currently twisted up in some sort of turmoil? In your head, heart, or maybe your surroundings?

One way the Pilgrims showed thankfulness was by being generous with the Native Americans, sharing their faith, time, and harvest with them. Like them, we can stir up Thanksgiving gratefulness around us, too, by being generous.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:8

Father God, You are our true source of hope and the place we can go for help when we are desperate and weary.

It's hard to find joy when you're struggling, especially when everyone around you seems so full of it.
