20 Bible Verses to Help You with Depression

The Burden of Depression

Depression is real … the feelings are real, the pain is real, the burden feels heavy. Depression affects all different kinds of people—people who have enough and people who don’t, people with great jobs and people who are unemployed, people who are famous and people who feel like nothing, and the list goes on. Even several people in the Bible went through depression. Moses, Elijah, David, Job, and Naomi among others experienced pain and depression for different reasons. But God and His Word will comfort you, give you hope, and remind you of the joy you can have despite your circumstances or feelings.
