With a new human friend at his side, he sues the human race, determined to win justice in the courtroom. Branded Chosen: Last Supper for its theatrical release, Season 5 of The Chosen masterfully depicts key scenes from the life of Christ: the entry into Jerusalem, the cleansing of the temple and the final meal with the 12 disciples prior to His death. (The yet-to-be-produced Seasons 6 and 7 will depict the crucifixion and resurrection, respectively.) All eight episodes of this new season roll out over three weeks on Prime Video beginning June 15 as part of an exclusive new partnership. Jonathan Roumie stars in the lead role.
