9/11 survivor Sujo John was working on the 81st floor of the World Trade Center’s North Tower when the first plane struck on Sept. 11, 2001, mere feet from his desk. After escaping to the concourse below, he was buried in dust and debris as the South Tower collapsed around him — and in what he believed could be his final moments, he cried out to Jesus and prayed with others. Remarkably, John survived, as did his pregnant wife, who worked in the South Tower but was running late that morning. In this interview with Crosswalk Talk's Michael Foust, John shares his extraordinary story of survival, faith and the FBI agent who helped lead him to safety before losing his own life. Twenty-five years later, John explains how 9/11 transformed his life and eventually led him to found You Can Free Us, a nonprofit that fights human trafficking and helps rescue and rehabilitate women and children.
