A heart after God’s own heart doesn’t require perfection—it requires repentance. David’s story shows that God can use imperfect people who still seek Him. God honors a sincere desire for holiness, obedience, and devotion. Mistakes do not disqualify you from being loved by God or pursuing Him fully. Obedience is a sign of love, and returning to God is always possible.
