Our minds can fill quickly.

A headline.

A difficult conversation.

A deadline.

A memory.

A fear about tomorrow.

A comment we cannot stop replaying.

Before long, one thought becomes ten.

He gives us a direction.

A filter.

A place to turn our attention.
