While serving on a mission trip in Puerto Rico, Laura Bailey met a woman who had prayed for more than a year for help repairing her roof—only for the answer to arrive through a group she never expected. The encounter challenged Laura during her own season of uncertainty and brought her back to Habakkuk 3:16. This devotional explores how Christians can wait faithfully without pretending uncertainty is easy, remembering God's character and past faithfulness when His timing or methods differ from what we imagined.

Laura Bailey is an author and Bible teacher who encourages others to understand what they believe, why it matters, and how to apply biblical truths to their lives. Laura holds a certificate in Biblical Women's Studies from SEBTS and serves as a workplace chaplain and the director of women’s ministries at her church. She is the author of multiple books and Bible studies; her most recent one on Habakkuk explores Habakkuk’s message of hope Amid Uncertainty.
