There is something both beautiful and intimidating about a fresh start.
It may be a new job, a new school year, a move, a restored relationship, a ministry opportunity, or simply another chance after failure.
Fresh starts remind us that God is always making things new—but they also expose our fears.
What if I fail again?
What if I'm not ready?
What if this doesn't work out?
Joshua likely asked similar questions as he prepared to lead God's people after Moses. The task before him was overwhelming.
Yet God's encouragement wasn't, "You'll be able to handle it."
Instead, it was, "I will be with you."
That promise is still true tonight.
The courage God offers isn't built on your experience, personality, or confidence.
It is built on His faithful presence.
You don't have to know everything about tomorrow to trust the One who already does.
