God Sees the Invisible Labor | Your Nightly Prayer
Much of the work that keeps life moving is almost invisible.
Someone remembers the appointment.
Someone cleans the kitchen.
Someone prays for the family.
Someone answers the email.
Someone checks on the friend.
Someone serves at church before anyone arrives and stays after everyone leaves.
These tasks rarely come with applause.
And because they often repeat day after day, they can begin to feel small.
Unimportant.
Taken for granted.
Sometimes even prayer can feel like that.
We pray faithfully for a person or situation and wonder whether anything is happening at all.
But Scripture repeatedly reminds us that God sees what people miss.
“May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”
— Ruth 2:12
