When the Fernando Ortega album called "Give Me Jesus" came out, it was special to a lot of people. I first heard the title track in high-school and started leading it (with Valerie) in college. There's a simple, plainspokenness in the lyric and a deep yearning to the melody. It has become very special to us through the years.
