Director Andy Erwin, MercyMe's Bart Millard and singer Tim Timmons preview "I Can Only Imagine 2" and share why this sequel was a story that had to be told. Eight years after the original film, the team says the new movie goes beyond the “happily ever after” to explore grief, gratitude and what happens when life keeps unfolding – even at the height of success. The new film continues Millard’s story, spotlighting his strained relationship with his son and the unexpected friendship with Timmons that helped lead them both back to a deeper sense of home and healing.
