Streaming is, without a doubt, here to stay. Thanks to popular streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, and an ever-expanding list of apps, we’ve never been presented with so many readily available entertainment options at once. Thanks to the abundance of streaming platforms, we’re only a few quick clicks from watching our favorite television show or movie at any moment.

However, while streaming is nice and often very convenient, some films deserve and need to be seen on the big screen. The live-action “How to Train Your Dragon” is one of those few films intended to be seen in the large-screen format. One quick look at the film’s latest trailer will have you thinking and feeling the same way. The stunning visuals, especially of Hiccup soaring over the land while on the back of Toothless, are breathtaking.

But besides the eye-popping visuals, “How to Train Your Dragon” has plenty of heart, sure to cause your eyes to well up with tears. Of course, this offering is based on the popular animated children’s films of the same name. The movie is about the unlikely friendship and bond between Hiccup, a young Viking looking to take down his first dragon, and Toothless, a scared and injured dragon.

The live-action film “How to Train Your Dragon" opens in theaters on June 13 and promises to be a fun-filled adventure for the entire family. According to IMDB, the film is rated PG for “sequences of intense action and peril.”
