Heavenly Father, We confess that we often make plans on our own and then come to You after the fact, asking for Your blessing. Forgive us for the times we’ve led with self-reliance instead of surrender. Show us the areas of our lives we’ve yet to give fully to You. As we walk into the days and seasons ahead, help us to seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness, trusting that You will establish every step we take. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Robert Hampshire is a pastor, teacher, writer, and leader. He has been married to Rebecca since 2008 and has four children: Brooklyn, Bryson, Abram, and Aubrey. Robert attended North Greenville University in South Carolina for his undergraduate and Liberty University in Virginia for his Masters.
