A Contented Saint

by Berni Dymet

Psalm 68:34-35 Ascribe power to God, whose majesty is over Israel; and whose power is in the skies.  Awesome is God in his sanctuary, the God of Israel; he gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!

I was having coffee the other day with a man by the name of Barry Chant.

Now back in 1979 he founded Tabor Bible College, the College at which I studied. Since then, Tabor's trained thousands of people in ministry who are now serving the Lord in all sorts of ways across the globe.  Of course there have been challenges and trials along the way. I mean it's not easy for a college that doesn't have the backing of a well funded denomination.

But recently, a college in Indonesia has started teaching accredited subjects from Tabor. Barry was invited up there for the graduation ceremony.

As he was telling me this - he was overcome with emotion. He could barely get the words out. Here's a man who's dedicated his life to sharing his faith, and God's taken that to places that he could never have imagined.

That's what happens. When we take our gifts and abilities we hand them over to God, He does things with them you know that we could never have imagined.
