Freedom From False Religions

October 25, 2013

Satan has trapped millions of people in false religions. He gives them mistaken ideas of how to get to heaven. They pray to the sun and the moon, to rocks, rivers, and trees, and try to find the truth in dreams and revelations. They ask the spirits of the dead to help them. They burn candles and incense to idols made of gold, silver, wood, stone, or plaster. They offer sacrifices and make vows as they pray to some spirit for help.

My friend, God’s Word, not man’s ideas, shows us the true way to heaven. As we read God’s Word, we discover the truth and we are free from these errors.

Jesus said in John 8:32  – “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

My friend, God feels very strongly against the use of images and any form of spiritism. Now that you have given your life to Him, His commands are more important than any vows you may have mistakenly made before you knew better.

God said in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 – “There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you”.

Praise the Lord my friend! You are free from serving any spirits or false gods, because you now belong to the one true God.
