Believe in Which Jesus?

John 6:66 Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him.
It's not always easy to believe not so much in who we'd like Jesus to be, but in who He actually is. And this Jesus offended people because of the hardness of their hearts. He did it throughout His ministry.
John the Apostle records this in His Gospel: Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him.
Jesus isn't about to water down His message. He's the Son of God. He came to save you and me. He came to die on that Cross to bring us forgiveness, He rose again to give us a new life, an eternal life. But for us to lay hold of that - sometimes - He's going to get in our face.
The truth is so confronting when we're hell bent on hanging onto our sin.
My friend - Jesus came for you. With all that I am - I implore you - don't turn away from Him. Let Him deal with the sin in your life.
