Ed Young Television Devotional

Small tweaks; giant peaks
Topics: Life, Adventure, Purpose, Direction, Hope
Devotional:

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10

THINK

Life is designed by God to be an adventure. But too often, it can begin to seem like a routine. We can find ourselves stuck in a rut, trying to eek our way through each day. We wake up and experience the same things day in and day out. And we can begin asking ourselves, "Is this all there is?" The answer is, no. There is so much more!

God doesn't want us to simply survive each day. He doesn't want us to get stuck in a rut or a routine. In fact, He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, so that we might experience more out of life! Every day, you have the opportunity to tap into the power of Jesus Christ and experience a life of purpose, a life of adventure, a life that is full! Are you tapping into that power?

PRAY

Begin by thanking God for your life. Thank Him for creating you to experience all that He has for you. And if you are stuck in a rut, pray for Him to help you out of it.

ACT

Do something to break your routine. Make a change today. Drive a different route home. Eat out instead of staying home. Turn off the TV and have a game night with your family. As Pastor Ed Young says, "Small tweaks will take you to giant peaks!"
