Men of the Future

Although I’ve read books about many of the men featured in the History Channel’s “The Men Who Built America” series, seeing a video reenactment was powerful. Thomas Edison’s innovative courage to imagine a world with electricity, rather than kerosene lamps, is remarkable.

In Hebrews 11:7 we learn of another innovator, “By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family.

Noah became a shipbuilder in spite of no previous record of rain or need for a boat. It’s a reminder of how God gives some of us dreams and skills to usher the future into the present.

If God has blessed you with dreams of the future don’t allow others to rob you of the privilege of creating that future.
