Work Life Balance

Only 40% of the workforce is very satisfied with their ability to balance their work and family life, according to John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development's latest study. This compares to 51% in 1999.
The internet has had a tremendous impact over the last decade on our work. With information flowing 24/7, and in larger volume, it's increased the demands on staff. Many now regularly work 7 days a week, rather than 5 or 6.
Leviticus 23:3 teaches, "Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places."
If you desire better balance in your life, consider saving one day a week for solemn rest.
