John 20:1-18 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb...
Today in John 20 Mary Magdalene discovers an empty tomb and then conveys what she's found to Peter and the "other disciple," John. Reading about how Peter and John ran together to the tomb and how John enters into the tomb and "saw and believed" moved my heart. It brought back memories of when I first had the realization of Who Jesus was (is) as well as memories about emotions I had other times when I had a particularly meaningful growth experience in my relationship with God. All good stuff.
So what moved your heart and why from John 20:1-18? Did you identify with Peter, John or Mary? What can you do this Easter week to let others know about Jesus? Tami W.
