Acts 28:1-10 After we were brought safely through, we then learned that the island was called Malta...
I love going to someone's house or staying in a hotel where I know I'll receive outstanding hospitality. Well, hospitality to the max is exactly what the people of Malta showered on this ship wrecked group here in Acts 28. Verse 2 says "The native people showed unusual kindness. . . " and this continued through the group's leaving. "They also honored us greatly and when we were about to sail, they put on board whatever we needed" (vs. 10). Impressive, don't you think?
So how are you doing in the hospitality area? Is it your practice to show "unusual kindness" to others? Think for a minute or two and find at least one person you can show kindness to this week. Tami W.
